Billie Joe Armstrong; Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong was kicked off a Southwest Airlines flight on Thursday because of having saggy pants, agreeing to reports. The lead vocalist/guitarist for the USA punk rock band thought it was going to be only a different everyday flight from Oakland to Burbank, but things went sour when a stewardess told Armstrong that he needed to hike his pants higher prior to flight takeoff. Cindy Qiu, an ABC7 San Francisco producer who was on the flight, noted that Armstrong initially said that he was only trying to get his “f-king seat” and asked if there were “better things [for the stewardess] to do than worry about [his pants]. That did not scare the stewardess away, however, as she told him that if he did not comply, he could be ejected from the flight, but Armstrong did not listen and he and his partner who was on the same flight were then removed from the flight. Naturally, he took to his Twitter account to talk about the mishap. “Just got kicked off a southwest flight because my pants sagged too low! What the f──? No joke!” he composed. Southwest, seeing the negative promotion that it was generating, then issued a argument saying that Armstrong would be allowed to board the next flight to Burbank. “As soon as we became aware of what had happened, we reached out to excuse for this Customer’s experience,” the argument by Southwest spokesman Brad Hawkins said. “He elected to take the next flight. We followed up with this Customer and involved Employees to acquire a lot of details and, in our latest conversations, understand from the Customer the situation was resolved to his satisfaction.”

I felt like a football game.  The round ended with him almost finishing the fight with a head kick.  In the second, we saw what makes Anderson the best fighter of all time. His ability to slip punches is stuff of legend with his head movement keeping Okami at a distance. He dropped Yushin with what looked to be a jab but let the Japanese fighter back to his feet. He then dropped Okami again and this time he didn't give Thunder any time to recover. Battering him with punches, knees, and elbows to the body, the referee was forced to stop the fight for the sake of fighter safety.  There's not much else to say really. Anderson is the greatest UFC fighter in the history of the organization. He's the most decorated champion and the winningest fighter. He's undefeated in the promotion with a record of 14-0. His overall fight record is 31-4. He's defended the middleweight belt nine times. Yushin Okami was supposed to be a legitimate challenger for Anderson. Massive for the middle class, had the tools to make an interesting battle tis, unfortunately for him, simply do not have the same level of Brazilian fighter. To 03/10 in the company, is one of the hardest sports middleweights. Losing him downs the stairs, and he needs to build its way to the top flight

While fans mourned his loss, pouring over the newspapers and listening to radio updates, those who knew him personally felt the pain much closer to their hearts. A few excerpts from Dash’s interview with Billboard’s The Juice: On meeting Aaliyah through his accountant in 2000:    “She was intelligent and she caught me. I’m the kind of guy who says things sometimes just to make myself laugh, but she would just catch me making jokes for me. I couldn’t get anything past her. She had a very quick mind and a very kind heart.”On their chemistry “The energy we created together for people to observe was kind of crazy. We’d be in a room full of people talking to each other and it felt like everyone was listening but it would be just us. It would be like we were the only ones in the room…It was like something was going down in history every time I was with her. Every time I was around her I felt it was the place to be.”On juggling a relationship and career: “She was always working and shooting movies. She was always gone for like four months at a time, then come back and be gone for another month. She had to rehearse and I was doing my own thing, so it was really hard for us to get long stretches of time together. When you’re with someone like that you buy into a life of being separate, but again, I couldn’t help my feelings. "In what was to come". My heart broke nothing prepares you for that ...  West Bengal: There was a consensus to rename West Bengal as Paschimbanga was signed Friday a bipartisan meeting to change the nomenclature of the state. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee suggested the new name and unanimity on it, said Minister of Parliamentary Affairs Partha Chatterjee reporters after the meeting of the Assembly of the State. "It was unanimously decided that the new name of the state will now Paschimbanga in all languages," he said. "We wanted a change in the name of the state administration to have the advantage," at he said. Chief Minister chaired the meeting attended by Trinamool Congress, with Congress and ally SUCI (C) Left front constituent CPI (M), CPI, RSP, Forward Bloc also GJM, among others. Ms. Banerjee had earlier authorized Mr. Chatterjee and opposition leader Surjyakanta Mishra to study the new name of the state. Mr. Chatterjee said the letter "W" in West Bengal was well below in alphabetical order, resulting in disadvantages for the state. "Paschimbanga a new name also reflects the history," he said, adding that a decision would be moved to the Assembly for adoption, which would then be directed to the Centre. Forward Bloc sources said that the selection was made between the proposals for "Paschimbanga", "Bangla" and "Bangabhumi" CPI (M) Mishra, who joined Mr. Chatterjee, a press conference to meet, said: " What you saw in the past, a consensus was reached on the issue all over the meeting.” When the bill to that effect, is two-thirds majority in both October and the Rajya Sabha Sabha and ratified by the President, the state should the new name.
