Florida State, Clemson kickoff at 3:30 p.m. Saturday"Tallahassee After back-to-back evening kickoffs, Florida State will play an afternoon game next Saturday when it travels to Clemson, S.C. for its conference opener. The ACC announced late Sunday morning that the Seminoles will take on Clemson in a 3:30 p.m. game at Clemson's Memorial Stadium. The game will be televised by ESPN. Last weekend, the conference announced it was putting that game under a six-day option, presumably to see what happened in the teams' big games this past Saturday. Clemson “3-0”beat No. 21 Auburn 38-24, snapping the defending national champions' 17-game winning streak.No. 5 FSU lost to No. 1 Oklahoma 23-13 in a nationally televised game Saturday night. Last season, the Seminoles and Tigers had one of the most dramatic finishes in Doak Campbell Stadium history, when FSU placekicker Dustin Hopkins drove in a game-winning, 55-yard field goal as time expired.
